Saffron Indian Takeaway bring healthy eating to the South Asian cuisine whilst being very active in the local community.

Saffron Indian Takeaway approached Webbed Feet UK because they had a website that was predominately an ordering system with a mobile app. However, Saffron offer so much more within the community and to their customers. The current website was restrictive and the design was limited.

The objective

The aim of this project was to create a small front-end respoisnve brochure website with a blog that works alongside the ordering system and app. Users will be able to switch between the two easily. The new website will make it easier for our client to update key pages such as the blog, FAQ's and special offers.

The solution

The brochure style website design follows the Saffron brand with a modern twist and more emphasis on the quality fo food that saffron produce to wet anybodies appetite. It's important to remember the core focus of the website is to make it easy for users to order Indian food so clear call to actions throughout the website have been applied.

Components added throughout to help showcase what saffron do in the community and keep their customers happy with up to date information. Easy to use FAQ's section, option for adding multiple special offers, interactive image gallery and social sharing all powered by our CMS (Content Management System) which is custom coded in Laravel.

The social sharing element within the blog allows users to share blog posts on their own social media platforms. The blog also allows Saffron to write posts and easily copy their link to their own social media accounts.
