Want your website sorted by Christmas? Free gift inside

Christmas has a habit of sneaking up on all of us, and every year we get the same last minute calls asking for help, leaving us feeling like Scrooge telling people they’ve left it too late.

But it’s 72 days until Christmas, yeah?

Not in our world. Our elves down tools on 18 December (we’re still around the following week for urgent bits and tidying up). Take off weekends and the final week before we break up; it’d be silly to launch anything then, as we’d be the ones fixing it over our turkey if it goes wrong. People also forget the boring bits, such as several days of proper testing, and the time it takes to look into your project, report back, agree a proposal and get it signed.

That leaves 28 working days. Just over five weeks.

If a third party is involved, such as a previous developer or web host, knock off another week. And that’s before your own internal decisions, and the fact that our team don’t work at 100% all of the time (if you know of a way we can legally change this, let us know). Small jobs have a habit of snowballing too. Whether it’s a new build, a new feature, an upgrade, a rescue or changes to your existing site, the clock is already ticking and Santa’s sleigh doesn’t wait.

Blah blah, what’s the free gift?

We’re giving away 12 free one hour sessions with one of our senior developers. Tell us what you’re trying to get done, whether it’s fixing, upgrading, rescuing, adding to or rebuilding your website, and we’ll look at it with you and tell you honestly what’s possible before Christmas, what isn’t, and the best way to approach it. No contract, no signing anything, no hard sell. Just an hour of straight talking advice from people who’ve been doing this for over 25 years. There are only 12 in Santa’s sack, and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

So, what can we ask Santa for?

  • Dear Santa, our developer stopped replying in August.
  • Dear Santa, our website’s been hacked. Again.
  • Dear Santa, our website is slower than a reindeer in a snowdrift.
  • Dear Santa, we have a half finished project and no idea what to do with it.
  • Dear Santa, our system was built in 2009 and everyone who understood it has left.
  • Dear Santa, we’ve been told we need to start again from scratch. Is that true?
  • Dear Santa, we’re scared to press the update button.
  • Dear Santa, please can our website do something new?
  • Dear Santa, our website and our CRM aren’t on speaking terms.
  • Dear Santa, our January sale starts on Boxing Day and the checkout keeps falling over.
  • Dear Santa, our website looks older than the Christmas decorations in the loft.
  • Dear Santa, we need a new website and don’t know where to start.

Not racing the Christmas deadline?

Not everything needs to be live by Christmas. If your project is planned for next year, a free hour now is the perfect time to get your sprouts in a row, so you can hit the ground running in January while everyone else is still finding their feet after the mince pies.

Interested?

Drop us a line and tell us what’s on your Christmas list. We’ll check it twice, and if you’ve been nice, Santa’s elves will be in touch.

The small print: Santa’s decision is final. Free sessions are allocated at our discretion. We reserve the right to decline any request or withdraw the offer at any time.
