Charles Leith is a classic car sales and brokerage specialist based in Fordingbridge.

They have a collection of fine classic and historic cars they sell on behalf of collectors.

The objective

Charles Leith approached Webbed Feet UK to help him build a brand new website that gives him the ability to upload classic cars and create a brand that will fit his desired target audience - classic car collectors.

The solution

The brand was created using the styling of an old number plate which fits perfectly with the classic car theme. The font is a hand drawn script font further adding to the classic styling of the website. Typically classic car websites have a dark green but we wanted to be a little bit different compared to his competitors by using a mix of red and blue with different colour tones.

Images of the cars will be the main focal point for the website design so having a wider more modern look will make the images pop for buyers so they can look closely at each image in detail.

The website features a custom built vehicle listing system which allows our client to add cars and images from the admin area, and mark them as either for sale, sold or hidden. On the front-end customers can view vehicles for sale and previously sold. Rather than generating a filtering system, our client can order the vehicles as priority which helps for highly sought after vehicles.

Our content management system (CMS) is built with Laravel, a powerful application framework which allows us to custom build the backend depending on our client specific needs which offers a huge amount of flexibility compared to other systems on the market.
