Published on Wednesday, July 16th 2014

When was the last time your phone rang with an enquiry from your website? Do you get regular email enquiries? Can your prospective clients even find you?

These days most companies have a website, but many don’t do anything with it. It was bought as a necessity and it sits there but doesn’t generate the revenue that it should.

Your website is likely to be one of the most powerful marketing tools that you have, it potentially cost you a lot of money, so why not use it to its full advantage?

With the Internet being the first port of call for most products and services, are you missing out?

Try it yourself by Googling your industry, and if applicable your location, for example “website designer in Salisbury”. Are you near the top, or even on the first page?

If you’re not you are losing customers to those who are!

So how do you get there?  This could be through a process of search engine optimisation (SEO), sponsored adverts (PPC and AdWords), Google Places, YouTube, rich snippets or Google Shopping. But of course Google isn’t the only way to drive traffic to your website, what about Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, email newsletters and blogs?

Now of course your head is spinning, there is a lot to consider, and that’s where we come in.
